Since as long as I can remember, I’ve loved writing songs. I’ve trained vocally since I was 15 years old. From writing songs about first relationships, to the songs I’ve written about my husband, our son, and my miscarriage, song writing and singing has always been at the heart and soul of who I am.

“Stepping Stone” Album
Recorded back when I was 20, this is a compilation of songs I wrote throughout my experience dating. From the love I daydreamed about having at 15 years old in “Mystical Vibe”, the heart break I felt from a breakup at 17 in “What Went Wrong”, the ridiculous dates I went on that summer in “Worst Date Ever”, the love I hoped for again in “Cause of You”, to the final song about meeting my husband and the song I named this site after, “Stepping Stone”. This CD is about my journey to finding love.

The song and video are as raw as the emotions I felt the week I recorded this song. After suffering my miscarriage, I didn’t know how to get through the days, the weeks, or the upcoming months. Writing this song helped me put everything I was feeling into words and find the eventual strength to move on.

As I experienced my very first pregnancy back in 2015, every day felt like a magical new experience. Throughout the months, I wrote verses of this song, marking each milestone of the 9 months, from the first heartbeat and flutters to finding out the gender, all the way to seeing his beautiful face the day he was born.
Every time I listen to this song, it brings me back to the giddy excitement I felt awaiting our son’s birth.
